Salary: 400,000, negotiable based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
The Talent Partner is a strategic HR partner responsible for managing the full talent lifecycle—from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management, development, engagement, and retention. The role works closely with business leaders to ensure the organization attracts, develops, and retains high-performing talent aligned to current and future business needs.
Description
1. Strategic Talent Acquisition
•Collaborate with department heads (e.g., production, sales, logistics) to understand staffing needs.
•Source and recruit candidates for roles ranging from factory operations to corporate functions.
•Build strong talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
•Strengthen employer branding and candidate experience.
•Track and report recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill and quality of hire.
2. Workforce Planning & Development
•Forecast hiring needs based on seasonal production cycles and expansion plans.
•Support internal mobility and succession planning, especially in key operational roles.
3. Employer Branding & Outreach
•Represent the company at career fairs, agricultural expos, and university events.
•Highlight the company’s values—quality, sustainability, and community—in recruitment campaigns.
4. Candidate Experience
•Ensure a smooth, respectful, and engaging recruitment process for all applicants.
•Provide timely feedback and maintain communication throughout the hiring journey.
5. On boarding & Retention
•Partner with HR to design on boarding programs that reflect the company's culture.
•Monitor employee engagement and retention, especially in high-turnover roles.
6. Learning, Development & Talent Growth
•Identify capability gaps and support development plans.
•Partner with HRBPs to implement learning pathways and leadership programs.
•Support career development, internal mobility, and succession planning.
7. Diversity & Inclusion
•Promote inclusive hiring practices across all departments.
•Support initiatives that empower youth, women, and marginalized groups in agribusiness.
8. Data & Compliance
•Track recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, cost-per-hire) and report to leadership.
•Ensure hiring practices comply with Kenyan labour laws and food industry standards.
9. Talent Advisory
•Act as a strategic advisor to managers on team structure, performance, and growth.
•Provide insights on market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor hiring strategies.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field.
- HR professional certification preferred (IHRM, CHRP, SHRM, CIPD).

•5–8 years’ experience in Recruitment/ Learning or HR Business Partner roles.
•Strong stakeholder management and coaching skills.
•Data-driven, commercially minded, and high emotional intelligence.
