Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Credit Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit management, ideally within the security or service sector. You will be responsible for managing Riley Falcon’s accounts receivable, minimizing credit risk, and ensuring healthy cash flow to support our nationwide operations.

• Credit Management: Execute the company’s credit policy by deploying a robust debt collection process throughout the business that meets the companies goals.
• Collection & Monitoring: Monitor customer accounts and ensure the timely collection of payments for services.
• Invoicing & Accuracy: Ensure invoices are delivered timely every month with accurate details as per our Customer Service Charter.
• Client Relationship Management: Communicate professionally with clients to resolve billing inquiries and maintain the long-term, mutually beneficial relationships Riley is known for.
• Debt Recovery & Negotiation: Oversee the debt recovery process and negotiate repayment plans for outstanding balances, collaborating with legal teams when necessary.
• Financial Reporting: Generate accurate monthly reports on credit metrics, analyze trends, and provide recommendations to management to minimize bad debt.
• Compliance: Ensure all credit control practices comply with Kenyan financial regulations and the Private Security Regulatory Authority (PSRA) standards.

• Proven experience of at least 4 years as a Credit Controller, with a preference for those who have worked in the security industry.

• Skills: In-depth knowledge of credit control principles and debt recovery practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attributes: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a professional team environment.
