Our client is seeking to hire a Senior Auditor. The ideal candidate must have external audit experience to join their growing audit practice in Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing external audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and applicable Kenyan laws and regulations. This role requires strong technical expertise, professional judgment, and the ability to manage audit engagements efficiently.

• Managing the audit team through the audit process from planning, execution to completion.
• Assessing and identifying risks in the various operations and drafting mitigating procedures to counter the identified risks.
• Keeping the books of accounts for various clients.
• Cost analysis and budgeting.
• Handling accounts up to balance sheet level and drafting/reviewing up to signed audited financial statemengts,
• Handling various tax matters.
• Risk assessment for various organisations operations and implementation of the controls to reduce the various risks identified across the organisation's structure.
• Posting of accountancy transactions using SAGE, PASTEL, POS, QUICK BOOKS softwares
• Laeding an audit team for various audigt assignments as assigned by Audit Managers (Audit and Accountacy Team Leader)
• Preparing and planning various audit work to be conducted i.e. internal audit, external audits, investigations and evaluation of internal controls in client organisations.
• Leading the tesk force to conduct the various special consultancy jobs e.g.

       Forensic audit, Due diligence, internal conrol evaluation, donor funded       projects audits and conrol evalutions

• Drafting/preparing financial statements from various financial systems to facilitate the statutory remittance or filing and signing financial statement for a particular year end,
• Conducting an evalution on the existing internal control in the client operating procedures and give recommendstions for improvement and implement strong control on area without good conrold procedures.
• Evaluation of vendor/outsourcing element of operation in clients' organisation and give recommendation on the best practices.
• Assist clients with various Tax matters i.e. VAT, PAYE, NSSF, SHIF, Individual taxes, Corporate Tax computation
• Assessment of segretion of duties and evelution of various operating systems to ensure organisation have its system fully automated and intergrated to enable tracking of stocks, assests, revenue generated, trade receivable assessment  and control the operating cash flows.
• Conducting audit proper on the clients; books of account on various areas, Assets, Trade Receivables, Trade Payables, Long-term Assets and Liabilities, Expenses and drafting financila statements using clients' financial report from the system.
• Leading ateam of sudit staff to conduct the audit or accountacy services from the start to the completion in order to meer the clients' deadline.
• Developing internal control system for varioyus clients.
