Location: Ruiru

Reports To: General Manager Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Scale: KES 25,000 -30,000 retainer, plus commission based on sales revenue

Job Purpose

The Sales Executive will drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and promoting the company’s event hire and management services. The role requires a proactive, target-driven individual with strong networking and negotiation skills.

Description

1. Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across government, non-government and private institutions
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, door to door hawking among others
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline

2. Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts
  • Negotiate pricing and close deals effectively

3. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Understand client needs and recommend suitable event solutions
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business

4. Market Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer preferences
  • Provide insights to improve services and pricing strategies

5. Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with operations and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Follow up on ongoing projects to ensure client expectations are met

6. Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Track performance against targets

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field

More Details on Experience

  • 2–5 years’ experience in sales (events industry preferred)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
