Job Title	Plant /Machine Operator

Reports To	Head of Department
Job Purpose	To ensure smooth seamless flow of product from the Machine  to the Packing sections in Full and error free.(FTR)   To ensure compliance for both quality and quantity  of the product as per dispatch procedures and work instructions

The operator will be in charge of managing one of our working shifts. Duties primarily revolve around the general management of your machine, which include, but are not limited to, providing and demonstrating task instructions, keeping attendance, and measuring key performance indicators. You will be expected to keep records and produce reports that will be used to review team performance.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills and a passion for excellence. Previous leadership experience is a plus.

Operator Responsibilities:

• Making sure products that report to you meet performance expectations.
• Giving instructions or orders to subordinate employees. to produce quality goods that meet specs
• Liaise with departmental head to know production plan availability.
• Allocate general workers to respective production lines.
• Verify the products are produced properly as per the production plan
• In conjunction with Q/A,ensure the truck is clean before loading it with products.
• Ensure the time allocated for targeted production  is maintained or improved.
• Ensure the products produced are clean and of good quality to meet customer expectation.
• Report any occurrences or misharp in the department for future correction
• Ensuring that the work environment is safe, secure and healthy.
• Meeting  production deadlines.
• Maintain  an accurate  record of work done on daily /Monthly basis.
• Ensure great customer service at all levels.

• Previous leadership experience in plant or machine operation position (2-3)years in FMCG.

• Excellent communication skills.
