Tarakwo Dairies Plc is a farmer owned company located near Bayete shopping centre, along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway , UasinGishu county. To meet the human resource requirements for its rapidly expanding business, the company invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position: Marketing and Distribution manager.

• Take charge of organizing and controlling all the activities in the sales and marketing department.
• Develop marketing plans and strategies that will maximize the company’s sales performance and expand its market share;
• Lead in the formulation of the annual sales and marketing budget,
• Undertake marketing research/ feasibility studies as may be required by the company,
• Organize trade promotions aimed at promoting company products,
• Develop the appropriate marketing mix for each product that will help position the product in the market,
• Ensure the company’s brands attain market leadership in the targeted segments
• Constantly monitor competitive activities and trends in order to  come up with alternative plans and strategies
• Ensure that the company develops and maintains a favourable corporate image.
• Contribute input to the company’s corporate planning initiatives

• A minimum of five years of mid- to senior level experience in developing, implementing and evaluating sales and marketing strategies in the fast moving consumer goods sector (Preference to be given to those with experience in the dairy industry)

• A valid driving licence
• Ability to develop and deliver through a team
• Ability to effectively supervise a sales team
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent digital marketing skills
