Key Accounts Manager for Third Party is responsible in managing company sales in assigned key accounts for third party products. They are responsible in ensuring customer relationship is achieved and maintained, handle complaints, monitor competition in the market to achieve market share and report on trends in the market. They will also be responsible for ensure optimum stock holding for third party products and budget management.

Key Responsibilities

Key Accounts Management:

  • Monitor key accounts sales for third party products and ensure set targets are achieved in line with overall company objectives
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities with key accounts.
  • Prepare regular reports and analysis on Key Account Channel sales
  • Monthly business reviews, discussion with key customer and document agreed joint action plans
  • Design joint promotional and marketing initiatives with customers and review outcomes
  • Ensure growth of key accounts sales by developing new accounts and activating dormant accounts
  • Introducing new profitable third-party products line in the key accounts

Route to Market Optimization:

  • Manage business resources, with proper planning and utilization to support the achievement of business development targets, volumes, operational budgets and plans
  • Perform cost benefit and need analysis of existing and potential customers to meet their needs
  • Ensure timely and effective delivery to customers with coordination with sales logistics and telesales team.
  • Ensure collection is done effectively to support credit control team

Relationship Management:

  • Periodically visit the customers to build and maintain a regular relationship
  • Provide feedback, advice, updates and education on FCL products to customers.
  • Respond to customer complaints satisfactorily with consultation with customer services department
  • Communicating to customers on offers, activations, new products, changes in distribution channel and any other sales activity
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders; third party products suppliers, sector managers, sales teams, credit control and all support departments

Market Research and Insights Reporting:

  • Gathering of industry trends, reporting on the trends and giving suggestions on adjustments to suit the trends
  • Collect information on customer satisfaction and propose changes on products and methods of sales.
  • Analyzing pricing in the market and advice the management on price adjustments Keep an eye on competitors’ pricing, packaging, product composition and informing the management
  • Reporting on competitors market share, marketing activities, routes and plans

Third Party Stock Holding Management:

  • Ensuring optimum stock holding levels for third party products
  • Demand forecasting with customers and sharing projected demands for third party products

Assist in sourcing for affordable/competitive third products from suppliers

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, tourism management or any related field

More Details on Experience

  • At least 4 years of experience in field sales and marketing in a busy FMCG environment handling HORECA and/or Retail Key Accounts
