INMYSTEPS FOUNDATION INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

RISE & LEARN GLOBAL Nairobi

Summary

In My Steps Foundation recognizes the need to support students in TVET facilities and higher institutions of learning by offering internship opportunities to provide them with practical experience in line with their studies.  The program will take students for internship, mentoring, training, and career coaching to give them experience and enable them in finding fulltime work.

Internships are offered for a period of 3 months per cohort. Extension of internship thereafter depends on agreements between the employer and intern. The organization shall engage interns whereby they will provide working tools and space availability, where required.

The internship is aimed at providing hands-on experience in the chosen area of study and developing practical skills that will position you competitively in the marketplace. During the internship period, students will gain exposure and receive mentorship in all spheres of life.

The Interns will be assigned to a respective department under supervision of a responsible staff member. Interns are expected to contribute their skills, knowledge and competencies while acquiring supplementary training in their area of specialization but are not full-time employees. At the end of the program the interns will be expected to write a report.
