The General Manager – Events will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and business growth direction. The role requires a results-driven leader capable of driving profitability, ensuring operational excellence, and positioning the company as a market leader in the events industry.

Description

  1. Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and implement business strategies aligned with company goals

  1. Operations Management
  • Oversee daily planning, logistics, and execution leading to cost efficient operations
  • Ensure timely delivery and quality of services
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and experience
  1. Financial Management
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance
  • Drive revenue growth and cost efficiency
  • Ensure accountability in resource utilization
  1. Business Development & Client Relations
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships
  • Drive sales and market expansion strategies
  • Represent the company in key engagements
  1. Team Leadership & HR Management
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Support in performance management
  • Promote a strong organizational culture
  1. Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure regulatory and safety compliance
  • Manage operational risks effectively
  • Implement policies and procedures
  1. Inventory & Asset Management
  • Oversee maintenance and utilization of assets

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management, Event Management, or related fields (A Masters degree will be an added advantage)

More Details on Experience

  • Minimum 6 years’ relevant experience (Events management)
  • At least 3 years in a senior management role
