A Mombasa based Tea export company is looking  to hire a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join their team. The primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient operation of a forklift to move materials within our warehouse/facility. This role is cruicial for ensuring somooth operations to be able to meet our the daily targets.

• Certificate of good conduct
• KCSE certificate
• A minimum of 3 years working experience

• Sensible attitude
• Ability to identity problems, concerns and generate ideas for improvement within  the Food Safety System Certification (FSSC V 6.0)

• Operate forklifts to load/unload goods from trucks, pallets, or other transport vehicles.

• Ensure loads are safely and correctly positioned.
  

• Move items to and from storage areas, machines, and loading docks.

• Stack and organize materials efficiently.

• Assist with inventory counts by accurately placing materials and tracking locations.

• Scan and label items as needed for inventory systems.

• Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure the forklift is in safe working condition.

• Report or fix minor mechanical issues.

• Follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents.

• Secure loads and operate machinery within site rules and regulations.

• Maintain logs of materials moved.

• Complete paperwork such as delivery receipts and inventory forms.

• Assist with other warehouse tasks like packing, sorting, or general cleaning.

• Coordinate with other workers to streamline operations.
