Our client, a leading hardware store in Nairobi is looking for a highly experienced FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE to facilitate its market growth and revenues. The successful candidate must be capable of attracting new clients, winning new accounts and maximizing company profitability. He or she will work prospects throughout the entire sales cycle which includes development of new leads, educating prospects and converting them into long-term customers.

Salary: Kshs. 40,000 plus commissions upon meeting targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Closing new deals at a high rate.
• Building relationships with existing customers.
• Cultivating new leads within the sales territory.
• Travelling throughout the territory and visiting customers on a recurring basis.
• Managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Maintaining records of all sales  leads and/or customer accounts.
• Representing the brand during all customer and prospect interactions.
• Educating customers on how products can benefit them financially and in other relevant ways.
• Monitoring the company’s industry competitors, new products and market conditions and aligning sales strategies accordingly.

• Must have 2-3 years working experience as a field sales representative selling hardware products (Both B2B & B2C).

• Must be comfortable on the phone.
• Possess a competitive attitude and highly confident. 
• Excellent conversational/interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently.
