Optimise Outsourcing is looking for a versatile E-commerce & Copywriting Executive with a strong focus on SEO-driven product content. This role blends copywriting, e-commerce listing management, and digital marketing support. The successful candidate will be confident in creating compelling product copy for multiple online platforms while supporting broader e-commerce and marketing activities.
Description
Core Responsibilities (Day-One Essentials)
- Product Copywriting & Listings
- Create compelling and optimised product listings for our websites, Amazon, and retail partner platforms.
- Write engaging, accurate product descriptions, titles, and bullet points tailored to e-commerce best practices.
- SEO & Keyword Research
- Use keyword research tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Helium, SEMrush, AI tools like ChatGPT) to identify high-value search terms.
- Optimise product copy, blogs, and website content for search visibility.
- E-commerce Administration
- Complete new line forms and ensure product data, imagery, and copy are supplied to retail partners.
- Coordinate content and assets with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Content Quality
- Edit and proofread content to ensure excellent written English and consistency across all platforms.
- Maintain product manuals and support materials (working with design/warehouse teams).
Secondary / Development Responsibilities (Growth Areas)
- Digital Marketing Support
- Assist in coordinating sponsored ads on Amazon and other e-commerce platforms.
- Provide bullet points and copy for sales one-pagers, Mailchimp campaigns, and packaging.
- Content Marketing
- Contribute to blog posts and website copy to enhance company branding and increase product visibility.
- Support social media keyword research and campaign planning.
- Cross-team Coordination
- Work with third-party content creators, agencies, and suppliers to deliver product and marketing content.
- Provide general support on ad-hoc ecommerce or marketing projects as required.
Education
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong copywriting and editing skills in English.
- Experience creating e-commerce listings (Amazon, Shopify, or similar).
- Knowledge of SEO and keyword research tools (Ahrefs, Helium, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner, ChatGPT, etc).
- Ability to use AI tools to generate and refine content.
- Competent with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
