The ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and help build strong brand visibility and presence. Objectives of this role
- Manage company image in a cohesive way to achieve marketing goals
- Manage both our existing sales pipeline and the development of new business opportunities
- Take a lead role in developing new business proposals and presentations that create and nurture opportunities and partnerships
- Identify trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline for the short/medium/long term in accordance with targets
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies to achieve strategic goals
- Track performance, and report metrics.
Business Development Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers, and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy
- Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources
- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and facilitate pitch logistics
- Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
- Support deal structure and pricing with business-value analysis, and negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.
Social Media Management Responsibilities
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with the company’s business goals
- Research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Creating/revamping and administering social media accounts (e.g. design Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, blog layout and make the website dynamic)
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging original content daily (e.g. text, photos, videos, and news)
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics.
- Managing posts and responding to followers in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews.
- Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency.
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
Education
- Marketing degree or HND or diploma (minimum)

- Demonstrable proficiency in handling social media presence, ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
