Description
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Provide overall strategic financial leadership and direction to the organization.
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
i Conduct detailed financial analysis to support decision-making.
ii Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgetary assessments.
Treasury and Risk Management:
i Manage the organization's liquidity, cash flow, and investment portfolios.
ii Develop strategies to optimize financial resources and mitigate financial risks
Tax and Compliance Oversight:
i Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal financial policies.
ii Work closely with external auditors in preparation for annual audits and tax-related matters.
Financial Operations Management:
i Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities.
ii Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
i Coordinate financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
ii Collaborate with department heads to align financial plans with overall organizational goals.
Cost Management:
i Analyze costs associated with coffee production, trading, and other operational activities.
ii Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
Financial Systems and Technology Management:
i Manage and optimize financial systems and software.
ii Collaborate with the IT department to implement and enhance financial technology solutions.
Sustainability Finance Integration:
i Focus on integrating sustainability goals into financial strategies.
ii Explore and implements financial initiatives aligned with environmental and social responsibility.
Education
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- A master’s degree or relevant professional certifications such as Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
More Details on Experience
- Relevant experience of 5 -7 years in financial management and project management.
- Strong financial acumen and proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations and financial software systems
