Summary

Our client, a professional Investment Advisory Consortium based in Nairobi is seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for driving growth and expanding the client base of the firm. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and promoting the firm's audit services. The Ideal candidate Must have prior experience working with a Consulting firm.

Description

• Identify and target potential clients in various industries and sectors who may require audit services.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the firm's audit capabilities and value proposition.
• Collaborate with technical teams and subject matter experts to develop tailored solutions.
• Represent the firm at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads and enhance the firm's visibility.
• Track and report on business development activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts to senior management.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree in business administration (MBA) is preferred.
• Proven experience in business development or sales roles within the audit, accounting, or professional services industry.
• Strong understanding of the audit industry, including knowledge of audit methodologies, regulations, and market dynamics.
• Track record of successfully identifying and closing new business opportunities, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and industry professionals.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
• Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
• Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong internal relationships.
• Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
