Summary

We are looking for a Business Development and event Manager. You are responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for the organisation as well as planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events, including corporate events, conferences, product launches, and social events. The responsibilities includes but not limited to:

Salary :50,000

Description

  • Identifying potential new clients and markets for the company's products and services.
  • Researching and analyzing market trends and competition to inform the development of the company's business strategy.
  • Networking with industry professionals and building relationships with potential clients.
  • Developing and presenting proposals and pitches to potential clients.
  • Maintaining accurate records of sales and business development activities, and reporting on progress and success to senior management
  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and market share.

 For Events

  • Meeting with clients to understand their event goals and create a detailed plan to achieve them. This includes identifying their target audience, setting objectives, and determining the overall theme and style of the event.
  • Coordinating with vendors, such as caterers, florists, and audio-visual providers, to ensure all elements of the event come together seamlessly. This includes negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and ensuring that all vendors understand their responsibilities and deliver on time.
  • Overseeing the setup, execution, and set down of events. This includes managing logistics, such as venue selection, transportation, and parking, as well as overseeing the setup and set down of equipment and decorations.
  • Handling any issues that may arise during the event to ensure a smooth and successful outcome. This includes being able to think on your feet and troubleshoots problems as they arise.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure all aspects of the event are aligned with the company's overall strategy. This includes ensuring that all event materials, such as brochures and presentations, are aligned with the company's branding and messaging.
  • Providing guidance and support to clients throughout the planning process. This includes answering their questions, addressing their concerns, and providing them with regular updates on the progress of their event.
  • Maintaining accurate records of event details and evaluating their success. This includes tracking event expenses, creating reports, and analyzing data to measure the success of the event and make improvements for future events.

Education

Certification in Sales & Marketing or related field.

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage professionals
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong understanding of financial and business metrics and the ability to use data to inform decision-making
  • Ability to think creatively and develop new and innovative solutions to business challenges
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing and the ability to leverage digital tools and platforms to drive business growth
  • Have excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
  • They should also be able to work well under pressure and be able to think on their feet.
  • This position requires a high level of flexibility and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A passion for events and event planning is a must. The candidate should have experience in event planning and should be able to work with a variety of stakeholders and clients, as well as be able to manage a project from start to finish.
