We are looking for a competent Accountant who is willing to learn and grow to join our Finance Department who will be reporting to the Finance Manager. Our company’s working model is a Hybrid set up, i.e., working remotely on certain days and from the office. The successful candidate should have the ability to analyse financial data, financial behavior, and interpret them to the management to aid in decision making.

• Invoicing and debt collection
• To provide general staff administration and ensure personal adherence to the organization’s code of conducts
• To ensure compliance management including statutory compliance and taxation (annual accounts and audit, NHIF, NSSF, PAYE, VAT, etc.)
• To manage the register of contracts, assets and security of assets
• Monthly bank reconciliation of all bank accounts
• Custodian of company cheques and other company valuables
• Ensuring proper filing and maintenance of accounting records
• Dealing with internal and external parties (clients, suppliers, partners and employees)
• Payroll processing
• VAT and Withholding Tax returns filing
• Petty cash management and handling
• Assist the auditors during audit
• Managing our accounts payables. We need constant reports and advice on future spending in regards to cash at hand.
• Prepare budget forecasts

• Up to three (3) years’ relevant experience

• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
• Hands-on experience with accounting software
• Advanced MS Excel skills including pivot tables
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
