Summary

Our client in the FMCG industry is seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Representative with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) to join their team. Based in either Nairobi or Mombasa, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strong client relationships, and maximizing revenue opportunities within the designated region.

Location: Either Nairobi or Mombasa, Kenya

Salary - 30,000/= (Negotiable)
Transport allowance will be provided.

Description

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share and increase revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet those needs.
  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, logistics, and finance to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand awareness and foster new business relationships.
  • Stay updated on product knowledge, pricing, and promotions to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry, preferably in Nairobi or Mombasa.
