Reporting to the Commercial Manager, The National General Trade Manager will be responsible for managing business growth and Route to consumer expansion in General Trade outlets.
Description
- Exceed budgeted growth in volume and revenues by developing new sales opportunities and increasing sales in existing accounts.
- Optimising the delivery RTM and route plans that ensures high customer service levels and delivery efficiencies.
- Responsible for excellent customer relationships and experience to drive loyalty and repeat sales.
- New outlet expansion and product penetration across the general trade.
- Ensuring compliance with trading terms and maximizing COD collections.
- Growing market share and ensuring share is eliminated.
- Team management and performance management to ensure a motivated, agile, and productive workforce.
- Strategic Pricing Decisions and ensuring competitive pricing is implemented in the trade.
- Trade and consumer insights management.
- In trade activations aimed at recruiting new consumers.
- Schools and Colleges recruitment drives.
Education
Degree in a business related field.
More Details on Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience, 5 of which must be in General Trade at managerial level in an FMCG Company.
