Introduction

We are a group of companies involved in various businesses in the hospitality industry including conservation .We would like to invite candidates who are team players, Flexible, willing to work under pressure and in a remote location to fill the position of Guest Relations officer in our Tented Camp.
 

Minimum Requirements

The purpose of the job is to manage all departments that deal with guests to ensure high level of services and satisfaction through;
• Ensuring quality services for the guests though Coordination of relevant departments viz Rooms, Mess, Kitchen, Swimming pool, Offices etc
• Monitor and maintain level of cleanliness in all the departments within the camp. 
• Ensure continuity of communication between the departments and make sure timely resolutions are achieved.
• Respond to guests enquiries, requests and complaints as appropriate.
• Oversee that all rooms are maintained well and ensure the standards prevails.
• Report unsafe situation in the camp and ensure rules are adhered to by all staff.
• Coordinate events for guests whenever they are in the camp e.g game drives, walks, flights, reservations.
• Ensure timely meals service to all management’s staff and guests.
• Keep records of the camp administrative records and as per the requirements of the local government regulations.
• Coordinate with the Human resources department in identifying training needs of the employees
• Participate in training of staff in house keeping and maintenance
Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma in hotel management, PR or any other service and meals related subject.
• Excellent oral & written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong Administrative skills
• Ability to work under minimal supervision, under pressure and offer proactive solutions
• Customer oriented
• Minimum 2 years experience in hotel or service industry preferably tented camps.
• Proficiency in MS-Office applications.
