  A new Tour Operating Company in Nairobi is seeking to hire a Manager from persons with a minimum of 5 years experience in a managerial position in the Tours Industry in Kenya and experience in Customer Service Role.
  The desirable skills include:

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent grasp of Kenya’s geography and its Tours Industry
- Excellent sales skills and experience in tours
- Good organizational and IT skills
- Ability to work under pressure and results oriented.

The manager will be responsible for:

- Creating new market for the company and working on an advertising campaign and promotions for the company.
- Creating competitive holiday and travel packages.
- Updating the company’s computer database and website regarding tour activities. 
- Organizing presentations and selling holiday and travel packages to various travel groups
- Providing information on different travel destinations
- Drawing up travel itineraries and ensuring needs of the customers are met. 
- Organizing transport, accommodation and other tour activities for tourists.
- Liaising with various airlines, hotels and transport hire companies to make suitable arrangements.
- Dealing with payments and performing general administration tasks. 
- Evaluating customers’ holidays and issuing appropriate advice. 
- Creating and putting up displays on trade shows.
