Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  1. Should be a Graduate or Diploma Holder in IT, Sales and Marketing or a Business related course. 
  2. At least one year of experience in sales.  Experience selling IT related products.
  3. Should be capable of developing a technical presentation and presenting to the customer on the solution proposed.
  4. Good interpersonal relations and communication skills.
  5. Should be motivated and show initiative.
  6. Should be willing to learn.
  7. Should be a team player and be able to work in a team

 

Job Specification

Tasks, Responsibilities and Deliverables

  1. Sales of company products (Software Solutions and Security Systems) to corporate clients, business or individual s and projects.
  2. Read and understand all SLAs, contract and prequalification covered.
  3. Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  4. Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
  5. Read and understand all SLAs, contract and prequalification covered
  6. Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity
  7. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize the quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
  8. Develop and implement sales strategies
  9. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries on both new and existing customers using appropriate methods.
  10. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone, and personal visits.
  11. Meeting monthly and annual sales targets.

Basic Salary for this position is between KES20,000 – KES 30,000 plus commissions
