Introduction

TMD Kenya (Thika Motor Dealers) was established in 1989 as a dealership of Isuzu East Africa Ltd. TMD Kenya is the largest dealer of brand new Isuzu vehicles, covering the Eastern Province and the larger Mt. Kenya region. We have 250 direct staff and support 300 Kenyan citizens through indirect employment.
 

Minimum Requirements

Personal specifications

                               i.            HR processes & HR best practices including a strong understanding on Labour Laws.

                             ii.            HR Value proposition in the organization.

                           iii.            Business Acumen,

                           iv.            Communication skill- high skills of both written communication and verbal communication.

                             v.            High level of integrity and leadership.

                           vi.            Strong analytical skills.

                         vii.            Decision making skills.

                       viii.            Practical Negotiation skills.

                           ix.            Stakeholders management.

                             x.            Mentorship and Employee counseling.

                           xi.            Strong Managerial and Administrative skills.


 

Job Specification

The person should be able to meet the below summarized  JD competently.

 1.      Support the organizational HR development agenda.- implementation competencies, management support to change management initiatives competencies required.

2.      Managing employee relations and Welfare – Union Experience required.

3.      Staff support and staff operational issues management – clear understanding of SME  business model for real business oriented solutions.

4.      Offer Professional Human Resources Solutions to the company.- Must have tangible practical content on core HR functions.

5.      Managerial reporting on HR Operations issues.
