Introduction

The U.S. Mission in Nairobi is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Clerk in the Information Service Center (ISC).

Qualifications and Evaluations

Education

Completion of secondary school is required. 

 

EXPERIENCE

 At least two years of experience in administration related duties is required.

 

Evaluations:

LANGUAGE

Level III English (Good, reading/speaking/writing). (This may be tested).

Level III Kiswahili (speaking/reading/writing) is required.

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

 

Qualifications: All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.  


 

Job Specification

Duties:
This Information Technology (IT) administrative clerk position is responsible for the tracking, accountability and management of IT assets; annual asset inventories; preparation of procurement requests; record-keeping in compliance to U.S. government regulations; and other office administrative functions for the U.S. Embassy’s Information Systems Center (ISC). 

Works under the direct supervision of the Regional Information System Manager and the general supervision of the Information Systems Officer (ISO).
