Introduction

Our Client in the Retail Industry seeks to recruit a HR Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing and reviewing Human Resources & Administration policies and strategies.
 

Minimum Requirements

  1. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, social sciences, business Administration, or its equivalent from a recognized university.
  2. Must have at least 5years’ experience in Human Resource Management / Administration
  3. Sound knowledge of Labor Laws and employment, Act 2007
  4. Must be an active member of IHRM with confirmed good standing record.

 

Job Specification

  1. Heads Human Resource and Administration department
  2. Formulate Human Resources & Administrative policies, strategies and manuals
  3. Responsible for acquisition of Human Capital
  4. Formulates and implements the company’s performance management system
  5. Develops competitive compensation strategies and systems
  6. Ensures maintenance and updating of all staff records.
  7. Develop a succession plan Program
  8. Develop and manage a well-established welfare scheme
  9. Coordinate training and developing programs
  10. Schedule and coordinate appraisals
  11. Coordinate OHS programs and requirements
  12. Manage the medical scheme in liaison with insurer.
  13. Maintain an updated staff establishment database.
  14. Manage staff attendance& leave management
  15. Advice management accordingly on matters relating to the labor laws/ new regulations
  16. formulate staff development plan
  17. Coordinate  staff induction, mentoring and coaching policy framework
  18. Handle grievances and conflicts at the workplace
  19. Payroll administration
  20. Ensures effective administration of office support and security services

KPIS/KRAS

  1. Ensure quality talent engagement and retention.
  2. Ensure timely processing of the payroll
  3. Work towards minimizing costs related to HR activities without compromising on quality
  4. Ensure and plan for timely continuous Training and development programs
  5. Coordinate Health and safety ensuring that all legal requirements are met
  6. Submit HR dashboard reports to the Managing director monthly
  7. Advice the management on legal matters related to HR
  8. Ensure compliance of all legal requirements related to HR and maintain zero penalties.
  9. Maintain an up to date employee data filling system
  10. Track and maintain an accurate and objective performance management system.
